General Information for CGI students

1. Eligibility to register with CGI

Applicants should ascertain that they meet CGI’s entry requirement prior to enrolling for courses.

Belstar provides assistance to students in respect of their eligibility to:

  1. Register with CGI.
  2. Any exemption and eventually assistance to secure it.
  3. Belstar will authenticate free of charge documents to be submitted to CGI to in support of application for exemption. Applicants need to produce to Administration the original and a photocopy of documents to be authenticated.

3. Course Fees

3.1 Foundation Rs 14 000

3.2 Level 1 and 2 Rs 14 000 per module

4. Payment Facilities for Course Fees

4.1 Self- financed students may apply for payment facilities (conditions apply) using the prescribed request form available from administration. Kindly contact admin@belstartraining.com

4.2 Sponsored students may, in lieu of payment, produce a letter from their firm confirming that course fees will be settled in full before classes start.

6. Mandatory Confirmation

Submitting of an enrolment form implies acceptance of the applicable rules and regulations. These are available for perusal from Administration.

1. NID Card
2. Certificates meeting entry requirements:

-HSC or GCE A Level for Foundation
– Undergraduate Certificate for level 1 or 2

1. Registration and Examination/exemption fees payable to CGI

This can be done

Either directly on line on CGI website using your credit card;

OR  by paying in Rs into Belstar bank account ( a/c details , amount in Rs and deadline  for payment  will be communicated by end of January  2026

2. Does Belstar assess the eligibility to exemptions?

Yes ; However this is subject to confirmation from CGI.

3. Does Belstar provide attendance and performance reports ?

Yes for sponsored students to their sponsors. Self- financed students may make a written request to administration.

4. Does Belstar provide study text?

Foundation students get a free soft copy of study text on registration.

Levels 1  & 2 students can purchase a soft copy directly from CGI.

5. Are the tuition fees paid to Belstar refundable?

6. Does Belstar cater for online sessions for the provision of the   course?

Courses are designed for a mixture of online and face to face delivery.  Lecturers  will provide more details in due course.

7. Are there any special requirements for studying for CGI?

Yes. Here are the most important ones:

  1. Being determined and ambitious
  2. Be well organized to create time for studying properly
  3. Have a smart phone & an internet abled computer with webcam
  4. Have keyboard proficiency with a minimum speed of 30wpm
