1. About the course
A first step in the CISI’s pathway, this comprehensive entry-level qualification can be taken as a stand-alone award.
It provides a detailed overview of investment and industry terminology from a global perspective and covers key financial principles and products while exploring the broader economic environment with a specific focus on the financial services sector regulations.
Learners are provided with an understanding of ethical behaviour and integrity.
The broad topics covered by the qualification make it highly suitable it for all staff irrespective of whether their responsibility covers administration, finance and accounting, IT, customer services, sales and marketing, HR and training or investment decisions.
This course being a good starting point for numerous pathways is often used by Financial Institutions as a benchmark for induction or for recruiting.
2. Entry Requirement
– SC with credit in English, Accounts or Maths.

3. Cost
Payment facilities available to Self-Financed Students.
The estimated cost for this award is approximately Rs 30,000 and includes:
- registration, exam entry and taking exams on remote Invigilation from CISI
- tuition fees
- study materials in soft copy.
4. Exam Mode
Exams can be taken from a Test Centre or on remote invigilation from anywhere.
For those opting for exams at a Test Centre, an additional fee (currently Rs 4000) is payable to Test Centre.
5. Venue, Duration and Time table
The course will be delivered at our new premises at Ebene Esplanade.
Duration- 63 hrs. (Some sessions may be conducted online)
Time table – Every Saturday indicatively as from second week of January 2026 for next intake
Courses will be delivered over 63 hrs. (Sessions of 3 hrs for Saturdays)
